The program of the 8th edition of Udine Design Week focuses attention on one of the most significant cultural aspects of the Italian economy: design. As in the past, it intends to create correspondences between local and global by deepening all aspects of design culture by bringing public knowledge to design, encouraging creative exchanges, enhancing the cultural resources present in the area. Udine Design Week is deeply linked to the urban, cultural, commercial and scholastic fabric. The initiatives involve open and private spaces. The whole city is involved in a pervasive exposure. Schools and universities are called to actively collaborate in the creation of installations, objects, graphic material and to guide citizens and visitors to discover design in the city. Udine Design Week takes place around a single theme which for Udine Design Week 24 is the ANTERIORE FUTURE.
